I’ve been impressed by how naturally the camera fits into my routine. The grip feels secure in my hand, the controls are easy to reach, and changing settings while keeping an eye on the scene feels intuitive.
Focus performance has been one of my favorite parts of the experience. Subjects are picked up quickly, and people stay easy to follow when they move around. I’ve also found the camera dependable for candid moments where there isn’t much time to adjust settings before pressing the shutter.
Low-light photography has been another strong point for me. I can raise the ISO when needed and still come away with pleasing results without excessive noise becoming distracting. The in-body stabilization also helps when I’m shooting handheld at slower shutter speeds.
Battery life has been practical for my typical outings, and the body feels sturdy without becoming unpleasant to carry for several hours. The layout makes sense once I spend a little time getting familiar with the buttons and dials, and I appreciate having plenty of control without digging through menus constantly.
Video performance has added another layer of usefulness. Switching between stills and video feels straightforward, and the camera gives me enough flexibility for casual clips as well as more deliberate projects. Having a full-frame body that handles both sides of my photography has made it easier to leave one camera at home rather than bringing several.
Weeks into owning it, I’m still finding reasons to reach for it. It responds quickly, feels dependable in different situations, and gives me plenty of room to grow as my photography develops. For my mix of portraits, events, low-light scenes, and everyday use, it has been a very satisfying camera to have in my bag.
